About ‘Nile Avenue’ by Marco van Beek

During our safari in the Serengeti, we were following a pride of lions, who were hunting. Being so focused on the lions, we didn't notice that 2 metres away from our car, a Nile dragon was lying on the bank near the water. Fortunately, we realised this in time and I managed to take a few more photos of this animal.

As a hobby, I particularly enjoy capturing nature on film. Animals have my preference and my holiday photos therefore mostly consist of animal photos. So this is also a great reason to take beautiful holidays and find a new challenge to capture each time. My interest is in all animals, small and large. My big challenge with taking photos is that they are taken in such a way that no, or as little as possible, editing is needed. So what i see is what you get.
