The northern lights during a backpacking trip in the Yukon, in Tombstone Territorial Park. With a small group of photographers we flew into the park by helicopter, after which we travelled around and photographed the stunning tundra and mountain landscapes for a week. The aurora nights were incredibly beautiful and the silence (and the thought of bears walking around here) are experiences I will never forget.
I am always looking for the most beautiful light to capture, whether in the city or in the wilderness near the Arctic Circle. A great personal motivation is to visualize the beauty of nature, in order to inspire others to be more careful with our (home) planet. .. Read more…
