The fjords of the Lofoten in Norway are fantastic. They follow one another as they slowly blend into the soft light of late winter.
It is a clear day, and the sun is low in the sky. Even in the middle of the day, there is soft light, caressing the mountains surrounding the fjords.
From the famous Uttakleiv beach, there is a beautiful view of these fjords that can be seen towards Myland and distant Yttersand.
The long shutter speed tames the choppy Norwegian sea, the sunlight tempers the harsh light in the sky. Together, it forms a unique image of this island archipelago in Norway.
