About the artwork

The Okazaki Canal in Kyoto is known for its picturesque scenery, especially in spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. A striking structure along the canal is the vermilion torii, a traditional Japanese gate often found at the entrances to Shinto shrines. This torii gives the area a spiritual and cultural atmosphere. The vermilion Keiryu bridge perfectly complements the torii, creating a harmonious and photogenic black and white image with structures highlighted in color. The color red in Japan symbolizes good fortune and protection, which underscores the cultural significance of these buildings. The motif offers an impressive representation of traditional Japanese aesthetics and culture.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
