"Old pink leaf with reflection: The vein structure" is a macro photo of a set of leaves (three leaves held together by a stalk) of the Bougainvillea. (Because one leaf is in the centre of the foreground, it looks like one leaf at first glance). Because this set of leaves have fallen off the plant and dried in the sun, the colour has softened and the veins can be seen nicely in the leaf. In the old pink / light pink leaves, you can see different shades of pink. If you zoom in on the photo, you can clearly see how beautiful this grain structure is.
The background is a reflective material with a texture in it. This creates an abstract painterly reflection under the leaf.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration, on aluminium or ArtFrame, for example, in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or just above the sofa in the living room! (Or as wall decoration on the wall in a waiting room, office or meeting room (business).
