This old willow tree stands in the vast landscape of the Merwede floodplains in Brabant. With its capricious branches and gnarled bark it seems to have walked straight out of a fairy tale. The soft winter light gives a beautiful warm orange-red glow to the landscape. Together with the green shades of the tree it creates a beautiful color palette.
