About the artwork

The lighthouse known as "Noorderhoofd" also called Westkapelle Laag is a 16-metre cast-iron lighthouse built in 1875. The lighthouse is part of a series of light beacons that mark the end of the Scheldt River and guide shipping traffic between the North Sea and Antwerp. In this photo, you look past the cast-iron structure straight up at the threatening clouds passing above this light beacon. A photo with a vintage industrial character and a bit of drama As a photographer, I love to capture the endlessness and details of Dutch nature in strong photo images. By using different techniques and combining them with perspective and composition, I create the own dynamics that are often recognisable in my photography work. With my photos, I try to capture a momentum in time where you almost seem to be able to touch the image and the atmosphere is almost tangible. This photo is available in high quality for printing on photo print, photo wallpaper, print applications or media expressions. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
