Oma Island is a small island near the village of Strandebarm lying in a quiet part of the large Hardangerfjord. It is privately owned. Years ago, I had come across this and had the desire to photograph it. My first pogong was with bad weather and now I finally managed to photograph it with beautiful afternoon sunlight. To me, this is very characteristic Norway with the red barn and white house surrounded by mountains.
I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
