About ‘Oude-Tonge.’ by PEEQ.

Oude-Tonge is a place in the east of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee in the Dutch province of Zuid-Holland. The village is located on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. Oude-Tonge had 5,085 inhabitants on 1 January 2021.

As of 1 January 2013 Oude-Tonge became part of the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee, before that it was part of the municipality of Oostflakkee which was dissolved on that date. Until 1 January 1966 Oude Tonge was an independent municipality (at the time officially written without a hyphen).
