About the artwork
It is a beautiful autumn day with the sun shining nicely. I walk through the forest towards the dunes. I see this trodden sandy path running across the dune, the lines catch my attention. If I follow this path, where do I end up, what do I see behind the dune? You can make it your own story. Do I come to a beach with lots of people, or is there no one there at all? Maybe there is a beach bar where you can have a nice cup of coffee. The sea completes your fantasy.
The soft colours attract me to this image, it fits into a quiet interior with soft colours like sand colour, soft green and brown. It is a timeless image, it can be made in any season.
