The Sint Servaas Bridge, called Maasbrug until 1932 and popularly old bridge (Maastricht: aw brögk), is an originally 13th-century stone arch bridge over the river Maas in the Dutch city of Maastricht. The bridge was named after the 4th-century bishop of Maastricht, Saint Servaas, but did not receive its current name until 1932; before that it was simply 'the bridge', officially Maasbrug. The Sint Servaas Bridge is considered the oldest bridge in the Netherlands and an icon of the city of Maastricht.
