About the artwork
"Panorama of fluff blown away with dark background" is a macro photograph of fluff of a dandelion, which has left the fluff ball and is now ready to move out into the world and find a new place. The colours in this work are mainly warm, natural, calm colours such as beige, cream and brown against a dark (almost black) background.
When taking the picture, I chose a shallow depth of field (only a few number of fluff and seeds). This creates, besides a dreamy atmosphere, a sense of depth in the work. The fluff in the background seems like only blurred lines and the fluff where the focus is on its sharpness.
