Round bales of straw on a harvested grain field with dramatic cloudy sky.
During a road trip through Alberta, on the way to the Rocky Mountains, I came across a beautiful flat field with a beautiful alternating cloud sky with occasional showers. The straw that remained after harvesting the grain was pressed into a countless number of round bales. They are waiting to be picked up by the farmer.
I love the emptiness, the plain and the endless horizon, but also the repeating natural (un-)regularity.
