There's no place on Gran Canaria that's more mysterious than Roque Bentayga. The story begins millions of years ago when Gran Canaria rose from the ocean as a result of volcanic activity. Roque Bentayga is the result of millennia of constant erosion that began at the time when this island was formed. It is a former volcanic lure, part of Caldera de Tejeda, made of basalt. A separate rock that is undoubtedly the centre of an enormous erosion crater. This majestic rock that dominates the valley with its past shrouded in mystery, has not yet revealed its secrets.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
