About the artwork

This panoramic image offers a sweeping view of the Thyssenkrupp steelworks in Duisburg, stretching along the Rhine River at the heart of the Ruhr industrial zone. The photograph was created from multiple drone exposures, stitched together to reveal the immense scale of the factory complex. Countless pipes, chimneys, and processing halls dominate the horizon, while the broad curve of the Rhine adds a sense of movement and openness to the composition. The soft haze typical of industrial areas filters the sunlight, giving the scene a subdued tone that enhances its authenticity. My goal with this image was to show how vast and structured industrial landscapes can be — functional, rhythmic, yet strangely beautiful when viewed from above. The panorama illustrates how human engineering reshapes geography and defines modern economies. Despite the heavy atmosphere, the balance between the industrial sprawl and the surrounding greenery hints at coexistence, making the image both documentary and contemplative in nature.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
