The beach lies open and clear under the sun. Soft sand stretches to the edge of the sea. Everything revolves around light: the warm gold of the sand and the endless, clear blue sky above it. The water in between. The horizon is barely a line - the water and sky seem to merge slowly, as if summer itself lives here.
