About ‘Paro Taktsang’ by Myrna's Photography
Taktshang is one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the Kingdom of Bhutan. The name Taktshang means Tiger's Nest. The monastery is built against the rocks and hangs about 700 metres above the Paro Valley, at an altitude of 3,120 metres above sea level.
