A potted plant that has sprouted a touch-as often happens at my house. Large monstera leaves catch pastel pink and yellow "sun spots", with splashes of paint as if you had just moved a pot. The pot was given a coarsely painted transition, half matt, half gloss. This work is from the Pastel Flora series.
This is for plant lovers who don't repot perfectly every week, but do love greenery in the house. The work feels homely and fresh. Above a dining table, in a home office or next to a cabinet with plant books, it does well.
Neutral walls? Then the circles stand out. Green wall? Then the green tones from this piece blend nicely with the background.
Nice detail: the mini-grain print at the bottom left-a little nod to real herbarium sheets.
