About the artwork
"Pastel-coloured abstraction: droplets hanging from a cobwebby fluff " is an abstract macro photo of water droplets hanging from one of the fluffy hairs of a morning star (Tragopogon). To get a nice abstract image, I chose the settings so that only a few drops of hair are in focus and behind them (and in front of them) the sharpness quickly changes to out of focus (fading). This creates an image where reality seems to transition into a kind of abstract dream - fantasy world.
The bokeh in the background (back of fluff) is easy to see. This work consists mainly of shades of taupe, beige, cream and brown.
Personally, I would write this image down as a pastel-coloured, cosy, calm image. Has something abstract but at the same time pieces that are very detailed. A calm warm image.
Beautiful for above your bed in the bedroom, for example, in the waiting room as wall decoration or in the meeting room (business). Or of course above the sofa in the living room!
