About the artwork

Leda is a figure from Greek mythology. She is the wife of the Spartan king Tyndareos.

Leda is known by the story of "Leda and the Swan". Zeus was in love with her, but could not convince her to have sexual intercourse with him, so he turned himself into a swan and overpowered Leda. Ashamed of what had happened, Leda had sexual intercourse with her husband that night and after nine months she had children, who according to some legends hatched from an egg. Pollux and Helena were the children of Zeus, Kastor and Clytaimnestra of Tyndareos.

Here the woman lies naked with blond hair. Because of this, the girl's legs, hips, belly, torso and breasts are exposed in the portrait.

All in all, a sexy and sensual erotic nude portrait with romance.

Paul Cézanne (Aix-en-Provence, France January 19, 1839 - October 22, 1906) was a French painter. Cézanne belongs to post-impressionism, a European art movement that followed impressionism. His work formed a bridge between impressionism and cubism.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
