Paw Prints Floating is one of my popular series of images that comprise Barnie Paw Print Designs. In this piece we can see the shape of paw prints in shades of green seeming to float on the surface of a background in shades of purple. This reminded me of leaves on the surface of a pond, hence the title Paw Prints Floating. But who did the paw prints belong to? Well it was a very naughty puppy called Barnie who thought some freshly laid concrete was the ideal place to play. We left the paw prints in the concrete as we rather liked them, being animal lovers. And I took a photograph as my artist eye was struck by the roughness of the concrete textures and the contract with the paw prints. I knew that if I plaid with the photograph I could create some interesting colourful abstracts and so I have!
