"Rest in pastel colours: A shell with reflection" is a macro photograph of part of a borer mussel lying on a reflective surface. There is a texture in this surface, so you can see the borer mussel upside down, but with a quaint abstract-feeling reflection. It looks like the shell is lying on water, looking like little waves, with a turquoise background. This gives a nice effect to the photo!
In the background is another drilling mussel, but because I chose my camera settings this way, it is blurred in the background, as is its reflection.
This work gives me a holiday feeling reminds me of beach and sea and gives a sense of calm (zen).
This picture could hang beautifully as wall decoration (on aluminium or ArtFrame, for example) in a holiday cottage, waiting room, bedroom, hallway or of course just above the sofa!
