Zeeland jewellery: silver pendant with Zeeland knot on St Jacob's shell. The Zeeuwse knot, also known as the Zeeuws Knot or Zeeland knot, is a traditional piece of regional jewellery from the Dutch province of Zeeland. The knot is made of fine wrought ironwork and has been part of Zeeland's costume since the 18th century.
