About the artwork

"Desert Rose" is a poignant photograph that takes the viewer on a journey of discovery through human emotions and cultural diversity. Inspired by Steve McCurry's iconic work, "Afghan Girl", this image embodies the strength and beauty of an Arab woman.

At the heart of the sculpture is the "Desert rose" herself, her expression imbued with a mix of grace and determination. She is captured in a moment of quiet reflection, her eyes speaking of a rich history and a promising future.

The veil covering her face adds an element of mystery, stirring the viewer's imagination. Behind this veil are stories, experiences and emotions waiting to be discovered.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
