The Petronas Towers (aka Twin Towers) is a landmark in Kuala Lumpur and one of the city's biggest attractions.
The two spires reach a height of 452 metres, making it one of the tallest buildings in the world. The towers are connected by an aerial bridge between the 41st and 42nd floors, which you can also visit (paid).
When it was inaugurated in 1998, the Petronas building was the world's tallest building with its 88 floors but it is now ranked 19th. The tallest building in the world is (anno 2024) the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. but the Petronas Twin Towers, however, remain the tallest identical buildings in the world.
In front of the towers is a park, inside the building you will find shops and a concert hall.
From the Twin Towers you have a great view of the city, and the best view of the towers and the walkway is from the adjacent KLCC park.
