In northern Germany in the town of Krummhörn Pilsum, the well-known and much-photographed red yellow ringed lighthouse also called "Ringsok" stands on the seawall. The lighthouse is 11 metres high and was built in 1891. Located on the East Frisian North Sea coast, the tower was decommissioned in 1919. It was also once a location for an episode of the series "Tatort". Today, the tower is open to the public and a popular wedding venue. I took the photo on a summer morning and converted it to black and white.
