About the artwork

This vertical colour photograph shows a sunny and serene scene on the coast, presumably somewhere around the Mediterranean, like a Greek island. In the foreground is a white wooden pergola attached to a pale yellow plastered wall. Over the pergola grows a lush bougainvillea with bright magenta pink flowers, some of which hang over the edge and form a colourful accent against the blue background. The leaves and flowers protrude playfully, some branches are barren and sinuous, giving a natural contrast between living and dry plant material.

The background shows an infinite sea in various shades of deep blue to cobalt, with a bright blue sky above. The horizon line is almost invisible due to the smooth transition between sky and water, giving the image an extra calming feel. The sharp light suggests that the picture was taken during the day in bright sunlight. No people or other objects are visible, so the focus is entirely on the contrast between nature, architecture and sea.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
