In the Doge's Palace in Venice I saw many wonderful paintings of the many glorious sea battles of the Republic of Venice.
Still fascinated by these old masters of painting, I wanted to make a sea piece in historical style.

Since my childhood I paint and draw. Early on I was also interested in technology and history. Like many artists, I am very rarely satisfied with my works. One strives for perfection, tries to at least come close to it.
On many journeys here in Europe and North Africa I saw fantastic works of art, architecture and landscapes, I got to know people from many countries. History has shown us that there have always been great artists, architects, scientists and philosophers…
