The Place aux Oignons is a square in old Lille. Besides looking incredibly charming, this courtyard has a rich history - it is said to have been built here in 1055, and largely rebuilt between 1985 and 1990.
The photo shows that it has now become a popular tourist area, where people can enjoy themselves on one of the terraces present.
