The work shows a close-up of a translucent, corrugated surface that is highlighted by coloured light sources. The light reflections in blue, green, violet and yellow emphasise the structure of the surface and create an abstract interplay of light and shadow. The exact materiality is deliberately left open - it could be reminiscent of plastic, glass or even water.
The idea for this painting arose from the desire to experiment with light as a creative medium. I was interested in how targeted lighting and perspective can transform an ordinary surface into a visually complex motif. The wave structure serves as a projection surface for the light that is refracted and reflected in it.
The atmosphere I want to create with this work is calm, but at the same time dynamic - a field of tension between organic movement and technical artificiality. It is about perception, about playing with what is visible and what remains hidden.
In interior design, this picture looks like a modern art object. It brings depth and colour into the room without being obtrusive. It can serve as a calm but effective accent, particularly in light-flooded or minimalist rooms.
