Photograph made in the studio with the theme plastic waste. On a table I built a landscape with a sea of plastic and left spices wrapped in an unnecessary plastic package. The packaging of our food in plastic is often unnecessary and superfluous and very damaging to the environment. By depicting the plastic as a sea, I make it as big as it actually is because there is a mountain of plastic rubbish around in the form of waste and the term plastic soup exists to describe the gigantic amount of plastic in the seas.
