About the artwork

What do you see at work?
A single reed plume in a hushed winter landscape. The background is soft and blurred, so all the focus is on the plume. The light plays with the fine details, making it seem almost transparent.

What was your inspiration?
During a winter walk, this plume of reeds caught my eye. Despite the cold and emptiness, it stood firm. I wanted to capture that contrast between vulnerability and strength.

What mood are you trying to portray?
Peace, simplicity and a touch of dreaminess. The combination of the cool snow and the warm tones of the reed plume gives a balanced, serene feeling.

What emotion or message do you want to convey?
The beauty of small, subtle things. You don't have to be loud to stand out. This image shows that strength and elegance lie precisely in simplicity.

Did you use a special technique?
A small depth of field makes the background soft and minimalistic, so the plume stands out. The backlight subtly highlights the fine hairs.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
