About the artwork

This forest is located in the Pokljuka Gorge in Slovenia, not far from the town of Bled. When you walk through the Pokljuka Gorge, a number of beautiful surprises await you. Where one moment you are climbing and clambering over the rocks on the path, the next moment you are walking through a forest with towering trees straight out of a fairytale, then climbing along steep stretches through a cave before continuing your walk over a bridge that is attached to a gorge.

Then you climb along steep sections through a cave to continue your walk over a bridge attached to a gorge. Walking and photographing, I have experienced this beautiful piece of nature. This work is suitable for the nature lover and the adventurer. It fits nicely in the living room, in offices, waiting rooms and hotels. Mieke photographs the mysticism and magic of nature, whether close to home or while travelling. During a misty morning or a beautiful sunset, Mieke connects with nature and this is reflected in her photos. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
