Polar light or northern lights.
The polar light is a phenomenon of light in the earth's atmosphere. It is often a light glow or consists of moving bows, rays of light or curtains of light; very rarely it is even flaming. Sometimes there is an arc on the northern horizon from which the light rays shoot up like searchlights. Sometimes, very occasionally you suddenly see something that looks like an angel floating across the sky
