About ‘Pontigny’ by Yvonne Blokland

Been to my beloved abbey yesterday. In Pontigny. Whenever we're in this area, we go there. Just for the atmosphere. Pictures I've had more than enough of already. And yet always different. Once there was a group of cyclists who spontaneously started singing a song, so goosebumps in such an abbey. Another time you have a beautiful ray of sunlight through the huge stained glass windows. This time I had a private guide... at an appropriate distance. Monsieur was 89 and lives in a nearby village. He has been coming to the abbey on a regular basis since he was 11. What I hoped for today was that there would be sunflowers around the abbey. Well there are ? Only not enough in bloom yet, inside it is always a party for a photographer, beautiful, tall and atmospheric. And the walls have been scratched with names since 1925. It's just something of all times, isn't it? On the parking lot.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
