I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest between Harderwijk and Nunspeet on the Veluwe. These mushrooms in the photo is the Porcelain Mushroom which were abundant in the forest at the time this photo was taken. These porcelain mushrooms were on a fallen tree trunk in the shade of the foliage, from which tree species the trunk is I do not know even though it is from a deciduous tree. in the blurred background you can see the trees of the Levenum forest. In order to take this picture I put my camera on a tripod and also used a reflection screen. I chose to crop this photo to 16:9 format, otherwise I did not do much in post processing. Because of the blurred background and the use of a reflection screen, mushrooms stand out nicely from the background.
