Noordpolderzijl has the smallest seaport in the Netherlands and is located on the Wadden Sea, south of Rottumeroog and is a hamlet in the municipality of Het Hogeland, north of Usquert in the province of Groningen. The harbor is only accessible at high tide through a narrow, shallow channel, the Noordpoldermude. At low tide, the port is completely dry.
