About ‘Portrait Pigeon with Makkah Monkey’ by Nelleke Bruno

I made this painting because I find it such a touching story. This is story of an orphaned Makkah Monkey who ended up in an asylum in Asia. He found a pigeon as a friend with whom he built a strong bond. One can see that the monkey was still very young that was given the size of the pigeon.
