About "Portuguese White Stallion in Column Gallery | Horse Photography"

About the artwork

At this old monastery in the heart of Lisbon, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, I photographed this beautiful Lusitano stallion. His cremello colour makes him unique: almost completely white, with soft pink skin around his eyes and nose, and light blue eyes that catch your eye immediately.

The setting could not have been more Portuguese. The colonnade, with its soft incoming light and typical blue tiles, gives the picture a Mediterranean feel. These kinds of tiles, found all over Lisbon, give the city its charm and make the photo recognisable to anyone who has ever been to Portugal. What makes the image extra special is the horse looking at something on the other side of the columns. What exactly that is remains a mystery, and that gives the photo something special.

This work fits into all kinds of interiors. It looks great in a modern home, where it adds a calm and elegant look, but also in a rural or classic interior, where it enhances the warm atmosphere. It is ideal for a living room, a bedroom or even a study. It instantly evokes the beauty and tranquillity of Portugal. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
