Story to the picture:
The pseudo-crater Skútustaðagígar at the beautiful Lake Myvatn in northern Iceland was formed by steam explosions over a lava flow. I find the contrast between the yellowish grasses and the deep black volcanic ash particularly attractive. The sweeping view across the lake to the snow-capped mountains is magnificent.
I feel as a beautiful challenge to put nature and landscape exciting in scene and thus tell the viewer of my pictures a little story .
