After days of rain, the sun finally brightened in Iceland as we headed to the island of Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands, south coast of Iceland). We hiked to the far end of the island to spot puffins. We decided to follow a side path along the cliffs and saw several puffins flying in and out of their nests. Suddenly, a puffin appeared to be sitting nearby. Silently I snuck closer, lying in the grass. And so I got this beautiful green blur and a nice portrait of this unique bird.
