Puffin between the rocks of Cape Ingolfshofdi, a remote spit of land on the coast halfway between Skaftafell in Vatnajokull National Park and the ice lagoon of Jökulsárlón. This nature reserve is home to thousands of nesting seabirds, such as puffins and great skuas. The cape is named after the first settler of Iceland, Ingolfur Arnarson, who spent his first winter in Iceland there in the year 874 AD.
