Together with some friends, we recently went out to photograph Puffins in Wales, on Skomer Island. The thought of doing this once attracted me because they are such beautiful creatures and are not at all shy either but I felt a bit pulled out of my comfort zone as I had never done this before. I grudgingly admit that it was really enjoyable and tastes "like more". The critters themselves on land just wander in front of your feet, you have all the time you need to photograph them except in the air, there they are lightning fast and besides, my 70-200mm did not live up to expectations as you would have needed a 150-600... On land itself, the 70-200 was rich enough to start realising a nice bokeh even in certain photo's. Was a nice 4-day, and yes, even driving on the left took some getting used to I dare say!
