Two puffins pose side by side on the rocks, their colourful beaks contrasting sharply against the dark background. The front bird is clear in the picture, while the second slightly faded in the background adds a sense of depth and calm.
This photo was taken in Scotland, where I spend a week every summer as a volunteer birdwatcher observing and counting. Working in the colony, surrounded by thousands of seabirds, provides an opportunity to capture intimate moments like this one.
This work brings vibrancy and character to an interior. Wonderful as an eye-catcher in a nature-oriented living room, a bright Scandinavian space or as an artistic accent in a modern office.
