Pumpkin Macro 01 - this is the beautiful skin of a small pumpkin growing in our garden. The seeds came from a pumpkin we had last fall and the plants must have been very happy. This is the second pumpkin it has grown for us. The skin is still mostly green with a beautiful pattern. Orange is beginning to come through on the left side.
I photographed this macro under natural light outside. It was a sunny afternoon with the sun coming from the left. There is the feeling of the afternoon sun when one studies this pumpkin macro photography abstract.
