I took this photo on the Ermelosche Heide in the Veluwe. When I took this photo, the heather was already purple as you can see. The tree that you see is an oak tree, a type of tree that is common on the Ermelosche Heide. In the foreground, besides some grass, you can also see a piece of a sandy path, this sandy path runs between the heathland past the oak tree. To make this photo, I took 3 photos with different exposures and afterwards merged them into 1 HDR photo.
