"Purple - old pink Zeeland Knot with 3 Zeeland knots in the background" is a macro photo of a Zeeland Knot (Astrantia Major) lying on a reflective surface. This causes the flower to reflect on the underside and you get a surprising image. In the background of this Zeeland knot, there are 3 more Zeeland knots, these are blurred, the front one is sharp and that is where most of the light falls.
In the reflective surface, there are lines and stripes in a few places, which cause the reflection to change in a distinctive way.
When taking this picture, I chose a shallow depth of field, so the front "flower" is sharp and the further back you look the blurrier they become.
A high-contrast scene / still life, which exudes a sense of warmth and also, despite the contrast, something of tranquillity. Besides fuchsia, the main colours in this work are purple, old pink, green and cream.
This work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, hallway or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
