About the artwork

For me, this work is an ode to rhythm and disruption - a visual echo of what could have been balance but has been deliberately disrupted. While making it, I was inspired by old industrial environments, where traces of weathering converge with unexpected patterns on this wooden panel. The fields of tension between colour planes and textures elicit a kind of visual friction, a dynamic that keeps pulling.

The atmosphere is layered: raw but also hushed, as if the work simultaneously breathes and whispers. There is movement in it, without anything moving.

My approach is in line with the spirit of informal art and material abstraction. Think of the work of Antoni Tàpies or the early photographic experiments of Sigmar Polke, in which texture and chance play a leading role.

What makes this work special as wall art is that it does not tell - it suggests. It asks questions rather than providing answers. It is more than decoration: it challenges space, brings depth, opens new perspectives.

It invites one to pause, to look with attention. An abstract artwork that continues to speak - softly, but penetratingly.
