About the artwork

This image focuses on the structural core of the Thyssenkrupp steelworks in Duisburg, captured from above to show the organized chaos of one of Europe’s industrial giants. Rail lines weave through the scene, connecting warehouses and furnaces that supply and transport steel across the continent. The tall smokestacks stand like monuments of the industrial age, releasing clouds of vapor into the overcast air. I was inspired by how the infrastructure itself forms an intricate pattern — a living network of logistics, heat, and motion. Every element in the frame serves a purpose, and yet, when viewed from the sky, it becomes almost abstract, like a metallic tapestry. The surrounding urban area fades into the background, emphasizing the dominance of the steelworks within the landscape. By photographing this from above, I wanted to highlight both the precision and the endurance of heavy industry, showing how it continues to define Duisburg’s identity in the 21st century.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
