About the artwork

An abstract digital composition of a rainbow with bold colours of blue, red, yellow, green, orange and purple and elegantly curved lines. Here are some facts about rainbows. A rainbow is created when sunlight is refracted and reflected by raindrops. This splits the light into its different colours, which we see as a rainbow. The classic rainbow consists of the colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet (ROGGBIV). These colours are created by the different refraction and reflection of light in the raindrops. Although we normally only see a semicircle, a rainbow is actually a complete circle. However, this is often obscured by the horizon so that only the upper part is visible. Sometimes a second rainbow is visible above the main rainbow. This is called a double rainbow and is caused by a double refraction of the light in the raindrops. Rainbows are fascinating optical phenomena that inspire us with their beauty and play of colours. They are a wonderful example of the marvellous phenomena of nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
